Meet Ruby Rose
Owner, Lead Muralist
Ruby is a muralist, illustrator, and designer based and raised in Jamaica Plain. Her love of wall art began in 2011 as a member of the Mayor’s Mural Crew, the City of Boston’s Parks and Rec program that’s beautified neighborhoods since 1991. After five summers criss-crossing the city with the MMC, she hasn’t put down the brush since.
Ruby’s family ran a neighborhood restaurant in the city for 27 years — as the proud daughter of a small business owner, she’s dedicated to helping entrepreneurs stand out with one-of-a-kind artwork that brings their brands to life.
She holds a BFA in Communication Design from Washington University in St. Louis and enjoys meandering walks around Jamaica Pond and sketching riders on the T.
